Solutions: Ways To Resolve Your Divorce

Your options from least expensive to most expensive are:

It is always the fastest, least expensive and least stressful. If you are capable of making agreement on your issues, this is always the best way to go.
You could Mediate.
Mediators help you focus on the important decisions and guide you to an agreement that makes sense to you. You are in control of the outcome. Typical mediated divorces take an average of 4 2-hour sessions, and even less for family or elder care issues.
You can use Collaborative Practitioners.
Collaborative resolutions uses lawyers for each of the parties, coaches and a financial professional all specially trained in Collaborative Process. If you are divorcing and have children, you may need a mental health professional to bring the childs needs into account. A typical Collaborative divorce takes approximately 6 months to complete, while collaborative family and elder issues take even less time.
Litigation.
This will cost more, take longer, and even more importantly will be more stressful. Unfortunately, folks who canít come to terms using the other methods may have to resort this option. Litigation also takes your future out of your hands and gives it to the judge.
